Lotto bosses “grabbed” R114m from charities

JEANNE VAN DER MERWE The National Lotteries Board withdrew, allegedly illegally, over R114m in funding to non-profit organisations, internal lottery documents show. The documents, leaked to Media24 Investigations, emerge as the National Lotteries Board agreed to re-instate a R20m lottery grant to a Gauteng literacy project.
