By JACQUES PAUW THE new chief financial officer of the police’s beleaguered Crime Intelligence division has been suspended and an alleged criminal syndicate has been exposed in its ranks. The latest crisis follows the suspensions last year of crime intelligence boss Lt-Gen Richard Mdluli and former chief financial officer Maj-Gen Solly Lazarus.
The team over at crime intelligence are not averse to hiring people that they know. Using information from court affidavits M24i and the Graphics24 team constructed this crime intelligence “family tree”.
